After 30 years in the corporate world, all with one company right out of college, I finally embraced an entrepreneurial opportunity to become a business owner and to take control of my own destiny.
I thoroughly enjoyed 28 of those 30 years.  The last two?  Not so much.  A stream of sales force expansions followed by reorganizations became the norm.  It was one fire drill after another.

What had been so enjoyable became a burden.  The leaders I had respected were replaced by people who cared only about themselves and making a profit.  It was clear I needed a change, and it came with yet another reorganization.  I was able to land a nice package, leave the chaos behind, and essentially retire at a fairly young age.

What I had not considered was I would have all the time in the world to play, but no one to play with as all my friends were still working.  I found myself ready to take on a new challenge by starting a business of my own.  Central to every position I previously held was an ability to identify and/or create opportunities for myself and others. My current venture capitalizes on that strength, enabling me to assist budding entrepreneurs as they explore exciting new career paths.
